Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to services provided by AGsites, a UK-based freelance web design business run by Archie Cliff George as a sole trader.

By accepting a quote, proposal, invoice, or otherwise instructing AGsites to begin work, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Services

AGsites provides services including:

The exact scope of work, deliverables, timings and pricing will be set out in a quote, proposal, invoice, email or other written agreement.

2. Quotes and project scope

Quotes are based on the information available at the time.

Anything outside the agreed scope may require a separate quote or additional fee. This includes:

AGsites will let you know before carrying out chargeable extra work.

3. Client responsibilities

To complete the project properly, you agree to provide:

Delays in supplying content, access or feedback may delay the project timeline.

4. Payments

Payment terms will be shown in your quote or invoice.

Unless agreed otherwise:

Accepted payment methods: Bank transfer (BACS). Details provided on invoice.

AGsites may pause work, remove access, or delay launch where invoices remain unpaid.

Late payment: Where invoices are unpaid beyond the agreed due date on business-to-business contracts, AGsites reserves the right to charge statutory interest and compensation under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. Statutory interest is currently 8% above the Bank of England base rate.

5. Revisions

The number of included revisions will be stated in your quote or proposal.

A revision means reasonable adjustments to the agreed design or content direction. A new direction, major redesign, or work outside the agreed scope may be treated as additional work.

Any timeline given is an estimate, not a guaranteed deadline, unless explicitly agreed in writing.

7. Website content and legal responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy, legality and ownership of all content you provide, including text, images, logos, testimonials, claims, data and links.

AGsites can help with website wording and structure, but does not provide legal, financial, medical, employment or regulated-industry advice.

You are responsible for ensuring your final website includes any legal pages, policies, permissions, disclaimers or industry-specific compliance requirements needed for your business.

8. SEO and lead generation

AGsites may provide local SEO, website optimisation and lead generation support.

However, AGsites cannot guarantee:

Results depend on factors outside our control, including competition, market demand, your service quality, pricing, location, reviews, response time and changes made by search engines or third parties.

9. Third-party services

Websites and lead generation systems may involve third-party services, including hosting providers, domain providers, payment providers, booking tools, plugins, analytics, WhatsApp, email platforms, GoHighLevel, Make, and CRM systems.

AGsites is not responsible for outages, changes, price increases, account restrictions, data loss or policy decisions made by third-party providers.

You may be required to accept the third party's own terms and pay their fees directly.

10. Ownership and intellectual property

Once all agreed invoices are paid in full, you will own the final website content created specifically for your project, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

AGsites retains ownership of:

Third-party fonts, plugins, stock images, software and licences remain subject to their own licence terms.

AGsites may display completed work in its portfolio, social media, case studies and marketing unless you ask in writing for this not to happen before launch.

11. Hosting, domains and access

Where hosting or domain support is included, the exact arrangements will be confirmed in writing.

You are responsible for keeping your account and contact details accurate. If you stop paying for hosting or ongoing services, the website or related services may be suspended after reasonable notice.

12. Cancellation

You may cancel before work begins by giving written notice.

If work has already started, you must pay for:

Deposits are non-refundable once work has started, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Managed Website package — minimum term: The Managed Website package has a minimum commitment of 12 months from the date of first payment. Cancellation requests submitted before the end of the 12-month term will not reduce the outstanding monthly payments owed for that period.

For all other monthly services, cancellation terms and notice periods will be set out in the relevant package, quote or invoice.

13. Liability

AGsites will take reasonable care and skill when providing services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AGsites is not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of data, loss of reputation, missed opportunities or third-party failures.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it cannot legally be excluded or limited.

14. Consumer rights

If you are acting as a consumer rather than a business, you may have legal rights that cannot be excluded by these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove those rights.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales, unless applicable law says otherwise.
